Awards Night!
May 26, 2021
The Madera High FCCLA Awards Night will be held on May 26th in front of the Joe Flores Gym at 6:00 p.m. We encourage you all to please bring your own chair(s) due to COVID-19. Many of our current and former FCCLA members will be receiving their awards from this year and last year. Awards such as Power of Ones, Pathway Completors, STAR Events winners, Degrees, etc. will be recognized!
FCCLA members will be notified through their school email a week before the Awards Night if they will be receiving an award that day :)
Member of the Month
April

Hailey plays the clarinet and enjoys playing songs that are jazz! She likes spending time with her family and friends. She likes to code, write stories, and to bake!
Chapter Officer of the Month

Shannel enjoys drawing and listening to music. During her free time, she always looks at pictures and recreates them through drawings. She eventually hangs them up in her room. One of her recent hobbies is painting shoes. She hopes to make it into a small business during the summer.

What is Madera High FCCLA?
In order to understand what Madera High FCCLA is, first you need to know what FCCLA stands for and represents. FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA is a student-led non-profit and national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) where students from grades 6 through 12 are welcome in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education. FCCLA members receive the opportunity to gain leadership skills, STEM skills, develop real-world skills, and much more to be prepared for their future careers. Madera High School has its own chapter of more than 150 FCCLA members. The Madera High chapter in FCCLA is under Region 8 and California FCCLA. Our chapter is a small group of the many members that are part of the amazing national organization that Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is known for.
